IL-1β, IL-6 and TNF-α mRNA expression in kidney tissues from the sham group, paraquat group and paraquat Xuebijing-treated group at 12 hours after administration of paraquat. Administration of paraquat significantly increased pro-inflammatory factors in kidney tissues. Intravenous Xuebijing significantly decreased these pro-inflammatory factors.
